Trunking // Trunkview V 1.50 released

The MPT1327 decoder and tracking program, Trunkview has recently had an update. Building on the excellent versions before it, 1.50 brings a lot more to the table.

Amongst other things, TV 1.5 offers:

• Support for AOR AR3000 and AR3000a radios.
• Support for Yaesu FT-847 and VR-5000 radios.
  
• Decoding of Short Data Messages.Only an MPT1343 ASCII formatted message will show readable text. If enabled, a popup will show the SDM ASCII text.
• Introduced enhanced logging: the Statistics window shows the Idents logged, Idents registered, Registrations failed and the Voice targets called.

The last addition is the one that is most interesting. Being able to gather detailed information and statistics about which units are talking to who/what/where drastically increases the knowledge of the network you're monitoring.
